One thing were extremely passionate about is education! Educating our clients and consumers on our products, hair in the industry today  and the best way to wear it.

Here are some quick tips if you're getting a sew in weave:

1. Wear a net over your cornrows
A net is a protective mesh material that's sewn on to your cornrows. It's designed to reduce the amount of stress that the weave puts on your hair. It also helps your braids to stay in place which extends its longevity. See more about different methods of installing hair extensions in our post: Hair Extensions 101.

2. Invest in anti-itch products
If you suffer from a sensitive, itchy scalp then there's no need to pat your way through wearing your weave. Tea Tree oil is antiseptic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, natural and helps with itchy scalp! Mix 4 to 5 drops in a cup of water in a spray bottle and spray it when needed.

3. Don't forget about your hair
Sometimes itchiness can just be caused by product buildup so don't forget to wash your real hair. Make it easier by mixing your favorite shampoo and water into a bottle with a nozzle attachment, apply and massage the mixture into your scalp and then rinse. Ensure you dry your hair completely otherwise mildew can start to grow- and we dont want that Bombshells!

Its super important that you understand the needs of your real hair and how to care for it naturally. Understand its moisturizing needs, you hair density and evaluate what products will work specifically for your  hair.

4. Look after your weave hair as if it was growing from your scalp
Deep condition the hair regularly. use dry-shampoo between washes and sleep with a bonnet. Be sure to comb your hair using a wide tooth comb or wig brush. See our care card image above.

If you're going to be wearing a wig we recommend taking a look out our wig education post. Wigs are a an investment that are SUPER worth it when you choose the one that meets your needs and desired look. Be sure to see what lengths and curl patterns are right for what you're aiming for.

If you want to try but a weave but don't want to spend too much money going to a salon then why not try installing it yourself? Check out our post on How To Make A Wig using bundles.

Also check out our pre-customized Celebrity Wigs and our all NEW Fake Scalp Wigs that mimic a real hairline and scalp. What makes these wigs so special is that its pre-plucked with lightly bleached knots and an elastic band.

So, whether your look is a bright pink weave, colored bob,  Bomb Body Wave, highlights and dope Mohawk or etc.. None of it really matters if your real hair is a mess underneath and your weave is a mess above. Rock your crown correctly Queen! You are a Bomb Queen! I think I’ve found the best in hair extensions. My knowledge is knowing exactly what Iam purchasing. No longer can be talked into a certain type just cause of the cost. I enjoy wearing the best in extension. No more buying extension every other month.
